Careers Positions at UFCU
Member Service Representative- Assists members in opening accounts, adding services, making changes to accounts, reconciling checking accounts, and resolving problems. Promotes and sells UFCU services and products. An MSR may take loan applications, conduct cash transactions, and sell travelers checks and related cash activities.
Teller
- Performs member transactions, usually receiving payments, disbursing funds, posting deposits, and providing account balances and related activities. A teller may sell travelers checks, cross sell other UFCU services and products, and on occasion open new accounts
Branch Manager
- Responsible for all functions of the credit union facility including supervising staff employees, security, operations of the facility, and member relations. Branch Manager is required to have detailed knowledge of all aspects of credit union operations
Head Teller
- Organizes and directs the daily operations of tellers, processes member transactions including receiving and disbursing funds, and posting deposits, loan payments, and withdrawals. Head Teller supervises tellers in the daily balancing of cash, money orders, travelers checks, and certified drafts
Loan Processor
- Interviews member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs and financial condition. Prepares and reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy. Follows compliance procedures for efficiency of workflow from Lending Officer to credit files with a result of maintaining up-to-date collateral and lien information
Loan Officer
- Reviews member applicants to ensure compliance and accuracy. Approves or denies consumer loans including unsecured loans and secured loans on property other than real estate in accordance with credit union underwriting standards. Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documents. Checks documents for proper descriptions, closing dates, signatures, and answers inquiries from members and potential borrowers.
