To make sure that our Ukrainian Federal
Credit Union’s strategy is positioned to fulfill our mission of safeguarding members’ assets, UFCU Board of Directors
and management periodically hold strategic planning sessions. All work together to establish and support a vision of where our
credit union needs to be in 3 to 5 years.
As a follow-up to the Annual Strategic Planning session held November, 2008, management held a
planning and training session in Rochester, March 30-April 4 of this year. Branch and senior managers participated in a variety of
training sessions, such as delinquency, collections, credit cards, human resources, leadership and marketing. UFCU auditors and
legal counsel gave presentations and insight on their scope of work in relation to credit union operations and procedures.
The meeting reinforced our common vision for our credit union’s future. Everyone realized how
individual branch and department goals affect our common good and the success of our entire organization for the benefit of all our
members coast-to-coast.
